• Uwe Sieber's UMBPCI.SYS v3.75 [33 KB, freeware, English] is the best FREEware DOS upper memory driver. Provides access to the Upper Memory Area (UMA) for loading devices/drivers/TSRs "high", using HIMEM.SYS extended memory manager, on Intel, FIC VIA, SiS and ALi PCI/AGP chipsets. Supports Intel Pentium/Pro/II/III/IV, AMD and Cyrix CPUs, in MS-DOS 5.00/6.xx, Windows 3.1x/9x/ME, DR-DOS, Open DOS and Novell DOS, WITHOUT the need for an extended/expanded DOS memory manager, like Microsoft EMM386.EXE, Quarterdeck QEMM, Helix NetRoom RM386, Qualitas 386MAX, Lineo DR-DOS EMM386 etc.
